Veda

While there are many reasons I love Veda, the main reason is that she makes me a better person - and trust me, this isn't an easy job. I've matured a lot over the years. Part has just been the natural process of aging, and part has been having children, but the majority has been Veda. She has worked tirelessly to keep my moral compass pointed north.

I also love Veda because she has truly stuck with me through thick and thin. While we have been blessed to have mostly "thick", there has been some "thin". During the tough times, Veda never once complained and remained solidly by my side 100%.

Veda supports me. I can't stress how important this is. A man can accomplish twice as much with a good woman supporting him by his side. Whatever dreams I've had, whatever things I've attempted, Veda has been there to help me. For some things, she has sacrificed, and for that, I thank her. Veda is often more excited and proud of things I've done than I am. She is happy to see me succeed and do well. While in many ways, Veda is greedy and she does try to get as much as she can, in this respect she is truly selfless.

I love Veda because of the three beautiful children she has given me. I watch her as a mother and I am amazed. Many mothers do things for their children, but Veda goes above and beyond the call of duty. From the amazing parties she throws them, to constantly being their advocate against me, to making sure they grow up healthly both physically and mentally, she is the best mother I've seen - except for my own mother, of course.

Veda is the perfect counterweight to my personality. When I go overboard, she is there to pull me back. When I don't go far enough, she gives me the little nudge I need. Best of all, Veda can deal with my OCD (even though I know she secretly does stuff that I hate) and has the second cleanest hands in the house to prove it.

These are just some of the reasons I love Veda. The complete list would be far to long to write down. I once gave her 100 reasons why I love her, but in reality, that just scratched the surface.
